I am a learning scholar, educator, and researcher with expertise (albeit limited in one sense or another) in political science in general and international politics, comparative politics, American politics, data analytics, and sustainable development in particular. As a PhD graduate in International Politics and Political Science from Claremont Graduate University, I have conducted what I think is groundbreaking research on populist leaders as risk factor for genocide, employing mixed methods and innovative theoretical frameworks like the Genocide Risk Factor Model of Populist Leaders (GRFMPL). With a solid foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research, including proficiency in SAS, I have developed good predictive logistic regression models: Predictive Logistic Regression Model of Populist Leader, and Predictive Logistic Regression Model of High Lethal Events in Sub-Saharan African Countries.  During summer sessions since 2018, I have served as an instructor at the World Organization for Sustainability Leadership (WOSL), where I have guided high school junior and senior students in research methodologies, global sustainability, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices. I am also the Chief Communication Officer (CCO) of WOSL.  I have written hundreds of articles (2007-2020) covering almost all aspects of Ethiopian political life.  Some of my articles are cited by at least thirteen scholars to date.
